The TV2 IR converter allows IR control of the TV2 location in place of the regular UHF Pro remote. Useful for when you want to use your own learning remote or to connect TV2 to a Slingbox. MSRP $35.
Per the 9/5/08 Retailer Chat this should be ready in about a month.
The receiver's TV2 output goes to the converter which is presumably placed near the actual TV2, then continues to the set (thicker white cables in the pictures). The long thin black line allows unobtrusive placement of the IR sensor. The 4th line is for power. (These photos from Team Summit 2009.)
