Starz/Encore programming comes from two orbital locations, so a Dish 500 is required to get all of these channels. Price is $10.99 per month or $121 annually. After April 1, 2000 Encore Westerns will be removed from this package except for pre-existing subscribers.
Update Effective 2/1/02 the price will be raised to $11.99 per month or $132 annually.

*Encore Westerns was part of the Starz / Encore movie package until April 2000 when it was moved to the then-new AT150 (now AT250) package and Encore Movie Pack. Subscribers to Starz/Encore at the time were “grandfathered” and allowed to keep this channel in their package as long as they: 1) never dropped the Starz package or 2) never added America's Top 150/180/250 (Westerns would revert to the AT Package code)
Starz is also running an HDTV channel that is free to Starz Subscribers (requires an MPEG-4 HDTV Receiver, a Dish 1000 or separate dish, and an HDTV).
