The Dish Network User's Resource
Basic install includes: Installing the dish to the home, 100 ft of wire, hooking up one receiver, connecting a phone line from receiver to an existing jack and a grounding block with wire to the house's grounding system.
Installing a second receiver, adding a phone jack, using more than 100ft of wire, wall fishing, and mounting the dish using other mounts that are either not included with the dish or the customer hasn't already purchased, will cost the customer more. Having to climb a 90 ft. tree for instance, will cost an additional labor charge.
In 2008, and for the past few years, a basic install will get Dish service to 4 rooms, typically using 2 dual-tuner dual-output receivers.
